Do I need Facebook to create a Connecter account?

 

Yes, we use Facebook to make sure we are connecting you with real people within your chosen radius and to prevent under 16’s from using our site. Connecter will never post anything to your Facebook.

 

Can I immediately see their profile?

 

Profiles can only be viewed upon mutual consent, and only when you and your match both choose to disclose each other’s can they be viewed.

 

How am I matched with people?

 

You are matched with someone based on mutual likes, interests, similarities and personalities generated by the answers you have provided for each topic.

 

Can I unblock someone?

 

Blocking/unmatching is a permanent action and cannot be reversed.

 

The app keeps crashing.

 

Make sure you have the latest version of your phones software, Facebook and Connecter updates, and try force- quitting the app. If the issue persists, try deleting the app from your phone, downloading it again and reinstalling. As long as you don't delete your account, this wont delete your existing matches and messages.

 

I don’t have any matches.

 

Allow time for people to answer their questions and have faith! We only select the best matches for you.

 

How do I delete my account?

 

Go to settings, select App setting and scroll down until you see the delete account button. This will delete any matches, messages, etc.. And will take you off the Connecter-sphere.
